Cyanide Sundae - Blinded Generation 'album review'

Hailing from sussex 'Cyanide Sundae' are a mix of metal and rock with their own unique sound.

With echoes of their influences intertwined within the album 'Blinded generation' was a pleasure to listen to with memorable tracks and hooks that I will return to in future without hesitation.

During the album I felt great nostalgia and familiarity with evident homages to their influences but also forging an identifiable sound differentiating themselves from the crowd.

This is not an easy feat but it is pulled off masterfully leaving me smiling and nodding along without consent! you rascals..

The feeling of frustration runs through this with politics, society and befuddlement of life`s issues tackled lyrically and when this translates to music and vocals during the songs they hit like a runaway train at times making me do the 'metal crease face of approval'.

The variety in this album keeps it refreshing and modern but also familiar nailing the combination of both with 80/90/2000`s styles punk/pop punk/rock/metal and even indie, its like cooking with all the separate ingredients to make a great dish and these guys get the perfect balance making you want seconds.
